Poem No. 20 - A Lost Spirit

With you gone from my life, it’s total agony each day. It is hard to move on, yet quite easy to say. I loathe every single moment that was spent with you. If only I had words to describe what I’ve been through. I feel like I’m driving on an endless road of guilt. Didn’t expect it was all lie on which our love was built. I was under the impression it was what we both wanted. Everything changed without you; now your memories with what I am haunted. I’m a lost spirit, finding a way to be free. Let the wind blow me away, like leaves from a tree.

Poem No. 3 - Never Forget Parents

For nine months straight, we caused her too much pain. As we entered our home, we made it sound like a train. She smiled, as if she was, hearing the droplets of rain. By holding his finger, our first step we took. Never hesitated to buy, the second we gave it a look. He loved our stories, gave us suggestion to write a book. As we grew old, thought, we don’t need them anymore. Sent them to foster home, and simply shut the door. When we had children, realized what they had done. Called the foster home, they replied, it’s too late son. Got a letter after, that said “from Mom and Dad”. As we read the letter, we cried soo bad. We are sorry for hurting you, that’s what it said. If you are reading this, means we’re already dead.

Poem No. 2 - Love Happens Once

I wonder what it is, people say it’s crush. Don’t know how or why, it all happened in a rush. My anger, my sentiment is what pushed you away. Not talking to you, made me regret each day. Became friends later on, leaving past behind. Is it all just a game, played with my mind? Met a new girl, thought she was the one. My heart replied, love is not for fun. Fooled my heart, talk to her, day and night. I told myself, it doesn’t feel right. Why am I only attracted to you? For once, can’t you admit, you love me too.
