Poem No. 20 - A Lost Spirit

With you gone from my life, it’s total agony each day. It is hard to move on, yet quite easy to say. I loathe every single moment that was spent with you. If only I had words to describe what I’ve been through. I feel like I’m driving on an endless road of guilt. Didn’t expect it was all lie on which our love was built. I was under the impression it was what we both wanted. Everything changed without you; now your memories with what I am haunted. I’m a lost spirit, finding a way to be free. Let the wind blow me away, like leaves from a tree.

Poem No. 5 - Death; A Painful Truth

My heart filled with darkness, as death bestowed upon me. It alleged my time had come, and together shall we flee. Latched itself onto me, as it glared through those eyes, I saw my whole life, from truth to painful lies. I forced my eyes shut, realized it wasn’t a dream. My body started to shiver, which soon led me to scream. The pain, the agony, was killing me from inside. For the first time it felt I had no place to hide. I had found solace, no longer was I afraid. Embraced death like a good faith and concurrently we fade. Moral: You can easily cheat death, unless it is fate.
