Poem No. 20 - A Lost Spirit

With you gone from my life, it’s total agony each day. It is hard to move on, yet quite easy to say. I loathe every single moment that was spent with you. If only I had words to describe what I’ve been through. I feel like I’m driving on an endless road of guilt. Didn’t expect it was all lie on which our love was built. I was under the impression it was what we both wanted. Everything changed without you; now your memories with what I am haunted. I’m a lost spirit, finding a way to be free. Let the wind blow me away, like leaves from a tree.

Poem No. 6 - Love Is Pain

When we first met, no clue I had of you.

My mind only recalls the color of dress you wore was blue.

I fell for you at that instant, wouldn’t have if only I knew.
You were somehow related, what I said so far is true.

Forced me to forget you, with my feelings I had to deal.
It isn’t that simple, to let go of what I feel.

Converse after a month, revealed what you wanted to see.
Buried my affection, I had for you, inside of me.

Had a great fight, said some things I regret.
Suffered by the look that I saw, when we later met.

Spoke with each other, on that very night.
Talked for hours, to make it all right.

I shared my sentiments, after that very day.
The reply I got crushed me, what I can say.

I have turned it off; no longer do I care.
All of my emotions, just vanished, into thin air.

The world that we live in filled with cruelty. Those streets in which we wonder, lacks beauty. We call ourselves people, yet we have no humanity. Women harassed every day, as if they are vanity. Politicians give bribe to police to free their misbehaved child. While the poor die from hunger but their faces smiled. What have we become, this despicable gibberish should end. Before the world ends, when there is nothing left to amend. It is time for us to unite, not walk on separate ways. Wipe out the corrupt and help the poor ones raise. Support each other and cleanse this world from all sin. Together we can create it a better place to live in.
