Poem No. 20 - A Lost Spirit

With you gone from my life, it’s total agony each day. It is hard to move on, yet quite easy to say. I loathe every single moment that was spent with you. If only I had words to describe what I’ve been through. I feel like I’m driving on an endless road of guilt. Didn’t expect it was all lie on which our love was built. I was under the impression it was what we both wanted. Everything changed without you; now your memories with what I am haunted. I’m a lost spirit, finding a way to be free. Let the wind blow me away, like leaves from a tree.

Poem No. 19 - The Alluring Betrayal

That place bloomed with happiness, out of which you came.
I knew after that day, my life won’t be the same.

The warmth of your smile, the spark on your face.
After meeting you once, I couldn’t repel your charming grace.

We were both attached, talk to each other all day long.
I can’t imagine we would separate, from a bond so strong.

You left me in the dark for some other guy.
Why not tell the truth, why hurt me with a lie.

Whenever I try to forget, something reminds me of you.
It is indeed ravishing, but filled with miseries too.

Still I cling onto that hope, one day you’ll return.

My heart is foolish, no matter what, it won’t learn.

The world that we live in filled with cruelty. Those streets in which we wonder, lacks beauty. We call ourselves people, yet we have no humanity. Women harassed every day, as if they are vanity. Politicians give bribe to police to free their misbehaved child. While the poor die from hunger but their faces smiled. What have we become, this despicable gibberish should end. Before the world ends, when there is nothing left to amend. It is time for us to unite, not walk on separate ways. Wipe out the corrupt and help the poor ones raise. Support each other and cleanse this world from all sin. Together we can create it a better place to live in.
